I'd lost my faith and become suspicious Of new friends. So when I met you I expected nothing But dead ends. I enjoyed your company, But remained unattached. I showed you kindness, But expected none back. When the time came, To say goodbye There was not a single tear, In my eye. So when you called The very next day, For no reason at all, Except to say hey, I was taken aback, My faith renewed. Overjoyed to have found A true friend in you.

A confusing thought just entered my head, What will I do when you are dead? Because though I loved you, you hated me, So how would I honour such a memory? I'd be unwelcome at the funeral, out of place, But it would seem disrespectful to not show my face. And how will i feel when you are gone? With our unresolved feuding forever undone. Relief that you can no longer cause me pain? Or grief for all of my love was in vain? The answers to these I'd rather not know. So the solution is that you can not go. Or even better you could just be kind, And forgive me, and give me peace of mind.

I let all my guards and barriers down, I let you in and you went to town. This is the story of how I was ripped to shreds. This is the story going through my head: You filled my stomach with butterflies, Made my head light with sweet lullabies, Turned my heart to mushy goo, I was on top of the world with you. Then you turned the butterflies into stones. No more mushy goo. I just froze. My brain has never taken rejection well. Knowing that you pushed me. And I fell. It wasn't graceful, quiet or pretty. there are times when i have zero inspiration. it sucks. there are times when i have plenty of inspiration...and no time to turn it into art. that sucks too. but sometimes i happily sit with my head phones in. my journal on my lap, drawing,writing and painting. i know i lack the mad artistic skills some people possess. but in my cozy zone i create my journal. my record of thoughts. or lack of thoughts. and as far as im concerned...its my masterpiece. heres some snippets from it.. (and by the way, by my journal, i dont mean my deviant art journal...i mean my sketch book)
